The Crown Warranty

If our work ever fails you, we fix it.

That's the whole warranty, in one sentence. Below is the same promise in detail — what's covered, what isn't, and how claims actually work. No asterisk farm.

What it covers

Our workmanship, in plain terms: leaks caused by installation, flashing we set, fasteners we drove, seals we made, trim we hung. If it's something a Kingbird crew did with their hands and it fails, it's covered.

How long it lasts

For as long as you own your home — and it transfers once, free, to the next owner when you sell. Not prorated, not shrinking every year, not tied to a maintenance-plan subscription.

What it doesn't cover

Storm damage (that's what insurance is for — and Dawn Patrol helps you document it), product defects (the manufacturer's warranty handles those, and we help you claim it), and damage from other contractors' later work.

Stacked coverage

Two warranties on every project.

You get both, in writing, at contract — the exact warranty document with the exact terms, before you sign anything. This page is the plain-English version, not a substitute for it.

Good questions

Asked, answered.

Is the Crown Warranty really included, or is it an upsell?

Included. Every full Kingbird installation — roof, whole-home windows, or siding — comes with the Crown Warranty at no extra cost. It's not a tier, an add-on, or a fine-print reward for buying the biggest package.

What voids the Crown Warranty?

Very little, and nothing sneaky: unrepaired storm damage you knew about, modifications by another contractor on top of our work (solar installs done wrong are the classic), and neglect like ignoring a clogged gutter for years. Normal life — kids, pets, weather, time — does not void anything.

How does the transfer to a new owner work?

One email or phone call with the new owner's name during your sale, and the remaining coverage moves to them — once, free. A transferable workmanship warranty is a genuine selling point when you list the house; realtors love it.

What's the difference between your warranty and the manufacturer's warranty?

The manufacturer covers the material — a shingle that fails as a product, a window seal that dies early. The Crown Warranty covers the installation — our workmanship. Most real-world problems (leaks at flashing, nail pops, drafts at the frame) are installation problems, which is exactly the half most contractors won't stand behind.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Call or email, describe the issue, send a photo if you can. We come out, diagnose it honestly, and if our work caused it, we fix it — scheduled promptly and at no cost. If it wasn't our work (storm hit, product defect), we tell you that straight and help you route it to insurance or the manufacturer.
